Meet Katie Davis

Before I dove head first into this book, I wanted to learn about Katie Davis and truly understand who she was and what she was doing before she embarked on her journey of faith. It would probably be good to know who was writing the book...

Katie Davis lived in Nashville, Tennessee with her mom and dad for eighteen years before dropping everything and moving to Uganda. During winter break of her senior year, she and her mother took part in a mission trip in Uganda. The trip was life- changing. Throughout her senior year, Katie struggled to fit in and find her place. So, she did what any homecoming queen and class president would do; she moved to Uganda. In less than four years in Uganda, Katie had started a non- profit organization and had adopted 13 Ugandan children. Life was moving fast.
